matt delucia joins us live with more. what are you learning this morning? >> reporter: a little over an hour ago, a woman who says she is a concerned philadelphian and a supporter of frank rizzo came here to put a drape over the statue. you can see that over there right now. and this is to cover that graffiti and you can also see right now there say large area around the statue that is sectioned off and police are here now watching over this area. look at video this is what it looked like earlier this morning after a man got out of the car and spray painted the words black power on the statue. they tell us there are many witnesses and they got a good description of the car and license plate and they expect to catch up with this person and file vandalism and criminal mischief charges today. he also painted another message on the ground. there is controversy of late over the statue and some acorps the former mayor rizzo of racism and some called for the statue to be taken down. earlier in the week, eggs had been thrown at the statue and folks out here are que

matt delucia joins us from the scene. investigators are trying to figure out what went wrong. it will take them a while to come out with a cause? >> reporter: right. over the last 24 hours ntsb arrived at the scene. you can see behind me, that is where the crash happened. one of the damaged trains that was sitting there has been removed. investigators got here around 7:00 yesterday. they say 42 were aboard the norristown train when it crashed. 33 were on board injured including the engineer. the ntsb plans to to talk to the engineer. four people are in critical condition but expected to subvif. investigators say they'll be here collecting as much information as they can and video recordings have been downloaded and sent to washington for analysis. >> we'll be looking at communication between control center and the field. survival factors, crash-worthiness, they'll look at what caused injuries to the occupants and looking at the design of the car, the crash-worthiness, how they survived and highly performed during the crash. >> we take another live look at 69th street transport
