the snow basically was going on might in some cases as part piled up in matt hamilton, mount diablo's. snow is a funny thing. you call somebody up on mount hamilton, they stick their hand in the snow, they've got six inches. it's very, very subjective, but you get the idea. beautiful morning out there. if you woke up, you saw mount diablo. in the mountains, some of these storm total super impressive. eight feet of snow up uncork word. 72 inches at north store. you're going to see more snow towards the bay area weekend. it's been a bumper year for snow in the mountains, and for us seeing the area in the bay area peaks. certainly a beautiful thing to see. as we go into tonight it's going to be downright cold, and we will see temperatures upper and mid 20s and some of the colder spots. so that is darn near a hard freeze. we will talk about those overnight lows. >> it is kind of cool. it is like i'm living in tahoe here in oakland. >> that is the morning routine not typical here in the bay area. scraping ice off the windshield of your car, it doesn't happen very often, but it was a common
