matt keller is on scene.an see the investigation is down here 300 yards away from where the crime scene tape has been set up here in south san jose. they are waiting on the core more to arrive to try to determine exactly how this man died. he was face down on street, halfway on the sidewalk and halfway on street. this was speculation it was a hit-and-run but firefighters declared him kid out here on the scene early this morning when he was discovered at 1:20 a.m. there are marks to indicate this was a vehicle that stopped quickly here on this road but they are not sure if those are old or new marks. homicide detectives are here and traffic investigate is not here on seen. though would be here if it was a hit-and-run accident so they will wait on the coroner if he democrats it was a hit-and-run accident and the injuries are consistent with that, they would come identity to scene to investigate. there is the possibility the person was killed elsewhere and brought here. this man, again, is described as hispanic
