let's go to matt pelman. >> snowy icy fat tuesday at that.ays as you head out on this tuesday morning. in delco we're not seeing delays yet but we're definitely seeing very slow speeds as you come northbound away from the delaware state line headed up towards the blue route. the road is still snow covered so it's very slippery. those speeds need to be slow and for the most people are going slow but some people are running into things. a crash in the allentown area on 22 eastbound between cedarcrest boulevard and one of my favorites mock chunk road. stay down on 78 but that's going to be slick as well. also word of a new crash coming in mercer county on 295 southbound the vehicle ran off the road and over on the turnpike southbound in the car lanes approaching 7a there's a crash in the left lane. septa's route 35 bus suspended as it often is in snow events like this, about 30 other buses running with detours. regional rails on a normal schedule but we're seeing some scattered delays. matt and tam. >> okay, matt thanks so much. >>> 6:27 and our

[laughter] >> good afternoon brian and shirleen. it is a monday. speaking of ice we're watching all sorts of slip pee repatches around the region. this afternoon we're watching that overturned tanker truck in pennsauken that sara bloomquist was telling us about. the truck overturned a little bit after 11:00 today coming away from the betsy ross bridge and so two ramps remain shut down. we're hearing likely until tomorrow morning. they're the ramps connecting 90 eastbound coming away from the betsy ross bridge with the northbound lanes of 130. all traffic coming all right bridge is being diverted onto union avenue but if i were you i would stay away from the mess and stay a bit to the north on the tacony palmyra bridge. chance it. you know there, could be an opening later on. none scheduled right now but stick with the tacony palmyra and from there you can get to 130 if that's where you're trying head. elsewhere in south jersey galloway

time now for an update on the highways and by ways on a friday night. >> let's go over to matt pelmanion news" traffic center. hi matt. >> many people probably think they have this week in the bag but then they'll get on the roadways and sit through a lot of track on -- traffic on the way home. a slow go on 76, the schuylkill expressway in both directions near the roosevelt boulevard, that eastbound travel time a solid 20 minute delay. westbound 22 minutes so costing you extra time on 76. not surprisingly this evening. in montgomery county we're watching a crash in hatfield township involving a pedestrian along 309 fire in orvilla road. in delco still have that vehicle fire by the pathmark along 322 at chichester avenue. but the brush fire along the blue route southbound by macdade is now cleared out extinguished crews are out of the way but you're still looking at speeds in the teens as you come from villanova and head towards 95. 95 in delaware one crash gone but we still have the one on the northbound side by one forty one taking out the left lane. southbound gaper delay as well. a

. >> all right, matt pelman in the "action news" traffic center with the latest on the situation in south jersey tonight. hey, matt. >> yeah, a lot of wishing going on. we were wishing that things are not like they are in pennsauken but unfortunately route 90 eastbound remains shut down at this hour rick and monica. you know why. it's that overturned tanker truck that sarah was telling us about just a bit ago. all traffic coming off of the betsy ross bridge is being diverted i don't and to union avenue and there is a pretty substantial backlog at this point as you come over the bridge from pennsylvania into pennsauken in new jersey. i would steer clear of this mess. you can stay up on the tacony palmyra bridge work your way into palmyra and 73 southbound or use our good buddy ben the ben franklin bridge. eastbound come the headlights into camden. then hop on the admiral wilson boulevard to get over to 130. that, too is a clear shot at this point. still have the downed pole from the earlier crash in christiana along 273 westbound right at highway 1 take out the right lane with normal south

matt pelman would probably say the same thing.absolutely. you know, never have we wanted the winds to whip so badly. we really want the winds to kind of kick up and dry things out as the evening progresses brian and shirleen because as those temperatures drop, roads like this one, the 202 parkway that are still wet are going to be very slippery. at this point we're still above freezing here in chalfont bucks county but the roadway is definitely wet as you can see. intersection sheer with bristol road and the traffic is moving fine that at this point. on our interstates things are drying out at this point. volume is not a major problem this afternoon on the schuylkill and neiffer. had that crash on the westbound vine approaching the schuylkill that cleared out and now just a little break tapping as you can see, a little bit of stacking up as you travel westbound approaching 76. speed restrictions still in place on the new jersey turnpike between the pennsylvania turnpike connector, the whole way on up to the george washington bridg
