matthew mcconaughey, woody harrelson.tectives" you're really not going to be able to stop. it's not a binge watch that you. it's a mystery that you want to get to the end to. you might be like a lot of other people and might not be that happy once you get to the end but you will want to try to get there. >> so you mentioned, too, off the top when you were saying you were hoping everybody was caught up on "breaking bad." these two going head-to-head in the drama category. >> these are the two top contenders for the drama category. you also have other great shows in there. you have "house of cards" but "breaking bad" has made such an impact in cable drama. more so than even "mad men." i would say we haven't seen an impact like this since the sopranos. it was such an iconic phenomenon. everybody knows who walter white is. >> sure. >> it's such an iconic show for cable dramas at this point. i think -- i think people want to celebrate it because it's now over. at the same time, "true detectives" killed it at the creative arts

we saw matthew mcconaughey, woody harrelson, kevin spacey, martin lawrence, the list goes on and on about movie stars moving to tv. why? >> it is really interesting. there is a lot of shifts going on in the movie and tv industries. i think later on we will be talking about super hero movies as the movie industry becomes so super here hero and comic book directed. a lot of serious stars are looking for decent work and finding it on tv. i think one of the things that happened this last year when we saw harrelson and mcconaughey together in true detective everyone said wow, this can really work. frankly some of the people, clive owin is a movie star but is a serious movie star and you can see him going to a serious tv series. william h. macy in shameless which is a serious premium tv. >> and joan cusack. you see those things. if we will see things like harrelson and mcconaughey do that. >> now real movie stars would not have been caught dead doing tv in the old days. so what has changed? stigma's gone? >> well, yes. and it is also the economics. there isn't as much money in regular movie any
