phil mattingly joins me. what do you know about this case? >> we have been waiting for this case to happen. the justice apartment in -- department in virginia filed a criminal information against credit suisse regarding tax evasion. a justice department official i spoke with said in 30 minutes credit suisse will lead guilty to those charges. the attorneys general should be out talking about this sometime in the next hour as well. we have been reporting a lot, the roller coaster ride between negotiations and the regulators, it looks like tonight will come to a conclusion. >> this is a case in which an institution is pleading guilty. that is to see from re-freeze cases, correct? >> absolutely that is correct. this could impact the way that credit suisse does business in the u.s. and possibly abroad. some of their customers may have rules and regulations about doing business with a company that has pled guilty to criminal charges. we will see if there is restrictions on their business or lonely that clients may -- or there is a possibility that

. >> phil mattingly, is this political? is this why the justice department is changing?> i think to his point, eric holder and his staffers have heard the rage coming at them from elizabeth warren and even more broad than that. it is not just liberals. you have heard conservatives talking about it on capitol hill and others. there is frustration from the executive level and the company level, there were no nature charges brought in the wake of the financial crisis, so the attorney general has always been aware of this. what is fascinating about this astimony almost more than year ago, it seems like a feelete reversal, and they like they are finally getting some cooperation with regulators this so there is not a collapse with the company, and this is so you do not have kind of an arthur andersen-esque fallout this so there is not a collapse with the like yoe 2000's. i think what the top officials feel like right now is that there is some type of path forward to get this done. to justiceording department officials, they feel it helps from eight future policy perspective as

phil mattingly looks at cashing at a the financial crisis theater near you. and netails on the fcc neutrality. we begin with new developments in the crisis in ukraine. yesterday's were vote in eastern ukraine? >> that's a good question and it's when the unit b -- the european union and united states are questioning big time. we saw the self-declared peoples republic both claiming they had separatism,port for independence and eventual annexation by russia. but in fact this is a lot of disparity to some credible polls we saw over the last couple of weeks, including the pew center who did a poll showing in western ukraine, more than 90% of the people supported a unified ukraine while even in eastern ukraine, where largely russia is -- russian is spoken, you have 70% support. our reporters on the ground have seen a lot of people to support unity and remaining part of ukraine did not even bother going to the polls because they considered the vote to be rigged in advance and not cluttered -- not credible in any way. the eu today came out with a statement, concerned
