a shark in hawaii bit off a woman's arm in maui.-old german tourists was snorkeling when that shark attacked. now her friends heard her scream, they knew something was wrong. a kayaker road over and helped them get her to shore. that woman is in critical condition. this by the way is the fifth shark related incident off the shores of maui in recent months. >>> a seven-year-old boy recovering after being attacked by a swarm of hornets. it happened near children's playground yesterday. the boy was playing on a hill near the carousel when he accidentally disturbed that hornet's nest. firefighters say he was stung several times. he was rushed to the hospital. his injuries are not considered serious. >>> in contra costa county an eight-year-old girl was air lifted to the hospital after falling out of a tree. firefighters say she was climbing the tree at a home in kenningston when one of the tree limbs snapped. we don't know her condition but she is said to be alert. at least she was before he was taken to the hospital. >>> california une
