fox 5's maureen umeh is live in the newsroom now with the details. >> reporter: the 17-year-old was afrom -- a runaway from california. she became friends with one of the suspects and before long was brought to new york where she was introduced to a life of prostitution. prince william county police don't know if the teen originally greed to be a prostitute. in the three months this he was with the two suspects, they frequently transported her to the maryland and virginia area for work. the suspects opened a craigslist page advertising the teen's services. they set up shop at a residence inn in woodbridge where police say the teen met with johns. police say the suspects told the teen they owned her and on sunday she ran for her life. >> on sunday the victim ran away from the hotel room, went to a toy store and asked for help. when the officers arrived, she was identified as a 17-year-old girl from california who had ran away from home back in december of 2009. >> reporter: the suspects are be held without bond. the victim has not yet been reunited with her family. he's currently being
