i'm maureen o'boyle. continuing coverage in a 2-year-old murder case. this is something we covered heavily in february of 2014. 82-year-old ina feldman was found dead in her south charlotte home. autopsy revealed she was strangled and had blunt force trauma, but she fought back. killed her was her son. irwin-j feldman. they say he voluntarily went to the police department after being called in. coupling physical evidence with many interviews they were able to make the arrest. >> most importantly i know occurred there was great concern in the neighborhood and some fear and trepidation which i understand i share those fears. i can tell you today that there is no reason for that community to be afraid of any sort of random violence or any sort of outstanding suspect. >> maureen: wbtv has covered this story since it broke. a 9-1-1 caller said it looked like feldman was robbed, but there was still jewelry on her body. back then we spoke with neighbors who were shocked that something like this happened in their maybe.
