kron 4's maureen kelly reports. there are several young victims identified in this case. union city police say their on april 12th after an employee here at alvarado school walked into michael howey's thrid grade classroom.and alledgedly saw him inappropriately touching one of his female students. after interviewing a number of students in his class. investigators arrested howey at his home thurday night. he faces 17 felony counts of annoying and molesting a child. but police would give few penal code. both of those involved in them police won't say exactly how many victims there are.other than to say there it is a significant number of thrid grade girlsbetween the ages of 8 and 9. investigators are continuing to interview could be add'l victims and add'l counts had no previous complaints he's taught in their schools. million dollars. he's court appearance tommorrow. mk k4news jo-har sar-nie-ev. his friends were arrested for helping him. you kids should count yourselves lucky. we didn't have u-verse back in my day. you couldn't just... guys... there you are. you know you

kron4's maureen kelly explains what we know so far. about what happened. it was from the top of this fell street residential building that the young man accidently plunged to his death four stories to the concrete below. police say he had been hanging out on teh roof with a group of people who appeared to have been drinking. and at least one of the people he was with lived in the building. you can see here that the door to the roof is not locked.but the san francisco fire marshall says it's not supposed to be.so they can get up on top in case there is a blaze. although they do recommend that alarms are installed on rooftop access doors.to keep residents from going up onto roofs like this one.you can see for yourself why it can be so dangerous.the front of the rooftop firewall is only a few feet high.and the western edge of the roof.has no lip at all to keep people from falling off. emily keats who lives next store was hanging out across the street in the panhandle with her mother in law when the accident happened. >> he surely should never been there. it's
