born and raised right here in sonoma, california, may boeve is the executive director at 350.org. we are an international climate change campaign whose creative communications, organizing, and mass mobilization strive to generate the sense of urgency required to tackle the climate crisis. a while back, it was winter, and i was invited to new york city to speak at a stop it at the or stop the keystone xl rally on the island of manhattan. and at the time i was running the indigenous tar sands campaign, and campaigns for the indigenous social movement, idle no more, out of ottawa, the capital city of canada.
