it comes back to maya angelou.someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time that negative preannouncement is the first time when management announces a bad quarter, they're not just looking at the past. they're looking at the order book to their future believe me, if there were any hope that business would get better, the company wouldn't have to cut numbers between its regularly scheduled quarterly reports if they thought that maybe something could get better, not worse in the next 30 days, they keep their darn mouths shut and wait that's why i recommend waiting that 30 days to see if anything improved before you even think about buying that kind of stock. this will really keep you out of trouble. because i can count on one hand the number of times when things got better within a month. sure, now you're going to miss some great opportunities like i said, maybe a half dozen. and sometimes the stock bottoms early. but most of the time, after 30 day, you'll have sidestepped yet another brutal leg down.

for maya angelou, i mean, she was deeply steeped in the bible even from, you know, her younger years. it was a great source of inspiration, guidance. i mean, you know, truly a very important part of who she is. so i think what we try to do, we have a large interactive feature here where we allow some, or you know, some comparisons to specifically i know why the caged bird sings. we show in her writing a little connection to, you know, one of her quotes where she talks about, you know, she was exploring hope in the sense of wholeness. and, you know, expressing this through the idea of the kingdom come. and this, of course, isn't a, is, you know, an allusion to jesus' prayer that he, that the gospels attribute to jesus, you know, to teach the disciples how to pray. you know, thy kingdom come, thy will be done. and she also in this work discusses how deuteronomy was her favorite book, and, you know, her effort to even memorize deuteronomy. and so when you have a book that that's significant to you, you know, those expressions come out in your writings, and so i think that's what we see w

[laughter] because i could not stop watching and i will never forget when she was there with all the children around her and she said the house will come to order with the gavel. and then two years later, i was in emerge. i was in my emerge class at the california democratic convention and speaker pelosi was there. and we had signs that said madame speaker and i was pregnant with my daughter gigi. you know, she is 9 now and she is watching me in my role as supervisor. she's watching me run for office. and she is watching me do it in a pants suit. and i say that because even in my time when i was a trial lawyer, i was told that i needed to wear skirts to trial.
