you may remember the story of anna mccann. she ran away from her virginia home on halloween 2008 and was found dead. now they are hoping information may help. brian kuebler joins us with more. >> reporter: the arrest was of the man for the murder of his girlfriend. the mccanns are hoping to get details from the baltimore police tomorrow. darnell kin law was never implicated in the murder of annie mccann. he and others were charged with taking the teen's volvo and dumping it. ken law was charged with the unlawful taking of annie mccann's car, only to resurface last month charged with the murder of his girlfriend in northeast baltimore, an opportunity police could take to question the 21-year-old further about the annie mccann case. >> when people are brought in on unrelated questions, we question them about other things. in this case there was no evidence to determine that mr. ken law was involved in the murder of annie mccann. >> reporter: police won't say what, if anything, could come out of that questioning. anything learned

the death of annie mccann strange, unusual, and deeply troubling. the medical examiner said she died from a lethal doves lodocaine from a bottle of back pain and ruled her death undetermined. the police say all signs point on suicide and her parents are convinced she was murdered and are asking the police to investigate the case as they should have from the start. a few hours afterran an's mccann's body was found near a trash bin in east baltimore, her 2007 volvo, like this one, was found several blocks away. while investigating her death, police learned how it got there: several teenagers stole it. one claiming they removed the teen's body before driving away. the only adult charged in the theft was this man who is facing a murder one charge in paul mer, for killing a 26-year- old woman on november 11th before stealing her car. the mccann's think he may know what happened to their daughter. >> and can not roulette out. we're inclined to believe that he murdered our daughter with liedo can. what we know is he was at the scene of the car with our dea
