when michael came out with a story that he'll probably be most remembered for on general stanley mcchrystal many of his peers in the press jumped on him saying you can't say the things that they told you in confidence. he said look, i never said we were off the record. they never said we were off the record. i didn't vital any journalistic efforts. they were complaining about we're supposed to protect these guys protect the government, protect the pentagon, and you broke the rules michael but actually telling us what they are actually doing. >> i think there was jealousy over the fact that he was courageous enough to break the rules that he was one of the rare, real journalists left in this country. aside from knowing him personally and being shocked by this news and devastated by this news, i feel bad for the american people because of the fact that they're not -- they lost a real journalist in this country. he would tell what you you didn't want to hear, but you needed to hear it. cenk: how many are left? right now is glenn greenwold and he is under a barrage of crist six. >> and the same
