mcclatchy sees a lot of hope in regional reporting. they have a compass project, people heard about it with google, going into three news deserts that don't have any news operations in them, the first youngstown, ohio which lost its newspaper. they are going to try something new and be brave and go in and try to get readers, try to get people talking to them and reading them. a lot of what we do is knowing your community, that's a really important thing like jerry knows and i know miami when i reported from miami. and in the front of my mind, what would land on the front page and it will stay there. it will keep the sticky stories people will go back to. what do people in the community wants to read, now that i've covered lexington, mitch mcconnell, the nice thing about him it is is not just -- just to folks in lexington and kentucky bit of interest to a national audience. we get a lot from that. how we would change that into subscriptions i'm not entirely sure but i tried to work well with political reporters down there on it and keep
