wild land firefighters come later this week on thursday, 200 soldiers from nearby joint base louis mccordve. they're going to be sent up for some training and then sent out on to the front lines to try to get a hold on these fire lines. now, there have been reports of looting. we just learned today that a couple of properties were looted by people who were breaking through the evacuation lines and burglarizing homes. i learned today that the sheriff's office tells me that one group of firefighters were actually starting to bring some fire protection to one of the structures. they interrupted a burglary in progress. crooks took off and police were not able to find them. these fires are happening in a small town around chelan in central washington. it's a big tourist attraction from folks from the pacific northwest and through most of the west. this is -- these fires have been pumping smoke and soot into the sky. that soot is forcing tourists to flee with their big bucks. i spoke with a fisherman guide who had a week packed full of reservations of people coming in to spend time on the lake,
