. >> reporter annie mccormick just arrived on southford street. >> reporter: the call came in before 10:30 this morning about a partial collapse here on the 100 block. you see a number of firefighters and policemen on the scene, the call came out and a demolition was underway and one of the floors in the home crumbled with several workers inside. and one man was trapped. take a look at this video, this is dramatic video of that rescue. the crews were able to save the demolition worker from the collapse and they say he is alert and conscious and talking. he is wearing a net break there as we bring him out to an ambulance, because that is standard procedure. the fire crews say there were several workers in there but only one man was trapped in the basement of the home after the first floor of the home was the one that did collapse. firefighters could not say if he was initially on the first floor or basement but the multiple firehouses did respond including the special operations unit and they sent in their airbag operations. they explained to us how they went about the rescue. >> it w

annie mccormick has the details. >> reporter: luckily nobody was hurt, what a terrifying ordeal for the family. they say was around 1:00 a.m. three men with their faces covered barged into the home and one was armed with a weapon. well, take a look at the video. this is video police responding to this shortly after the call came out at 1:00 a.m. it happened in the somerton section in the 14,000 block ofa. they broke into the home and tied up the couple and tied up their son. the intruders left the family of three tied up. the family returned a short time ago and tell "action news" off camera at least one intruder pointed a gun at them and after demanding money, the intruder said out loud they think they got the wrong home. >>> all three family members were sleeping when they were awoken by the three perpetrators. at least one was seen with a gun in his hand. all three had masks covering their faces. all three were wearing gloves and they began ordering family members to tell them where the money is. >> reporter: now, the intruders did take some cash from the son's wallet. this is a safe

"action news" is not identifying the names of the three because they are minors but according to police only one of the three actually struck joyner-francis. she is charged with criminally negligent homicide and police say she repeatedly hit the teen victim with a closed fist in the head and torso. now the other two girls are charged with criminal conspiracy. investigators say they reviewed video of the fight which happened on april 21st where afterwards joyner-francis is seen struggling to get up from the floor disoriented then she collapsed. now investigators say she laid on the floor until someone called for help. she later died at the hospital. but according to the medical examiner, a preexisting medical condition may have contributed to her death. amy died from a cardiac in

"action news" reporter annie mccormick is live with the latest.d morning, annie. >> good morning, tam l police are calling this a one man stabbing spree that spread across a massachusetts city, the massachusetts city of taunton. it left two people dead also we are told that the suspect is dead. he was killed by an off duty law enforcement agent. well, authorities say this all began on this street in the city of taunton about 40 miles south of boston. that's where suspect arthur darosa crashed a car outside of a house then walked into that home and stabbed two women with a kitchen knife. an 80-year-old woman the victim in there died. her daughter is in the hospital with the life-threatening injuries. police say he then stole a vehicle from that street and crashed that car into the silver city galleria mall in front of a macy's. he assaulted multiple people inside the macy's then entered the restaurant w bertucci where he stabbed two people and a 56-year-old man. an officer was in the restaurant and shot the suspect. darosa died at the hospital. wit

"action news" reporter annie mccormick is live at tinicum township police with the details. annie. >> reporter: and matt, that's right the chase ended in philadelphia but it started here in delaware county after a tinicum township police officer saw a suspect in a home invasion jump into a car to get away. that's when the officer gave chase. well, this is video from the scene and philadelphia after the chase ended. philadelphia police searched a large area around delaware avenue and spring garden for the suspect. the chase between the tinicum officer and the person he believed to be a suspect ended with a crash around girard avenue and that's where the suspect then fled on foot. now, this all unfolded around 10 o'clock last night. a 911 call for a home invasion in prospect park brought police to the 200 block of lafayette avenue and officers saw one of several suspects jump into a vehicle there. that is what sparked the chase. there are at least two other suspects that fled possibly from foot from the park scene. back out here live the police officers suffered minor injuries
