the classic case for me is when, the first story involves we were going to mcdonald's in the seventies he never took us my mother did before we went to greek school which we hated every tuesday my father once took us and maybe i was 12 or 13 and my father goes to order and says give me a whopper we knew he instantly said it wrong. whoppers are at burger king across the street. the young person their head is spinning because they have no idea and my brother and i were just cringing in embarrassment whoppers are not a mcdonald's and instantly we knew but the same thing happened five years later there was this moment i was 17 or 18 i was in college probably filling out financial aid forms at the kitchen table the least favorite thing i would ever do this in a moment of incredible tension i have no patience. it is agony. i don't know what we were arguing about but it explodes the way you do you just repeat things you have heard somebody say on tv the way you do you just repeat things you have heard somebody say on tv i repeated that clichÉ i don't want to talk about it. that was not normal
