kcci's marcus mcintosh is live at hull and delaware, where the incident occurred. marcus: we are standing at the delaware. police tell kcci at this point it does not appear that charges will be filed in connection with the death of haley hols. flowers and pictures mark the area where 22-year-old haley hols, a mother of 2, suffered injuries that would claim her life. this was the scene sunday night as family, friends and those who love her held a candle light vigil in her memory. des moines police say it happened last saturday, halloween night near the intersection of hull and delaware avenues on des moines east side. authorities say hols either fell or jumped from the vehicle she was in with her boyfriend sam archer and run over by the same vehicle. hols leaves behind a 6 month old daughter she shares with archer and a 5-year-old son. we spoke with a relative who asked us not to show her face or use her name. she tells us the pain is hard to put into words. >> i don't really know. i could bury a child. it would be really hard. marcus: behind me is a makeshift we sp

. >> joining me now from washington is jess mcintosh, vice president of communications at emily's. thanks for joining us. according to mother jones since the videos released there have been at least four suspected arsons as well as at least according to what we've seen five cases of vandalism targeting abortion clinics around the country. why are we seeing this? >> abortion clippics and women's health clinics in general have been under attack for quite some time. it's rare that we see an actual murder. it's been about six years since that's happened but we have seen dramatic uptick in arsons and vandalism and acid attacks in attempted bombings. i think that the videos themselves were a form of attack on one woman's health clinic, it was trespassing, it was severe violation of patient privacy. the things that were filming without women's consent were appalling and not just planned parenthood that maintains the video. the filmmaker said the videos had been selectively edited, some scenes were taking place inside planned parenthoods with nothing to do with planned parenthood. they see

marcus mcintosh. stacey: new information in an overnight chase where des moines police used a k9 to catch a man. it started before 3:00 in the morning south of downtown. the pursuit lasted nearly a half hour. it finally ended when the man ditched his vehicle and tried to run. the k9 caught the man at southeast 4th and mlk. 37-year-old shaun phelan of des moines was wanted by the atf on a warrant of felon in possession he also faces charges from the chase. new at 5:00 a 28-year-old man , faces 16 charges in connection with a chase on interstate-80 early this morning. the iowa state patrol says james earl overton took off when a trooper tried to stop him. troopers say at one point overton was driving on the wrong side of the interstate. overton started running on foot after a trooper performed a pit maneuver on his car. he was arrested and taken to the polk county jail. steve: new information about those toilet paper bandits. urbandale police say they have received a lot of tips about the 2 men but stil

marcus mcintosh, kcci 8 news, iowa's news leader. kevin: 5 people, at least 4 from the des moines area, arrested in osceola on a human trafficking sting. all face prostitution charges. the arrests all made at an osceola business during the sting yesterday. stacey: an update on an illness that made 58 roosevelt high school teachers and staff members sick. the polk county health department now says meat, served at a staff luncheon october 21st, was contaminated with a food borne bacterium. the polk county health department says it can't release who provided the meal, citing confidentiality. but hy-vee released this statement late this afternoon saying "roosevelt high school , officials picked up cooked taco meat from our windsor heights store the morning of wednesday, october 21. our internal review indicates that the taco meat was prepared and stored properly while at our store. as you know, we can't control how food is handled after it leaves our stores.
