we are along mclane boulevard, south of northern parkway, where most of the damage was done. this was where the roofs were literally ripped off the apartment buildings upon and as you can see, the power of this storm as it fell. trees after ripping off the roofs, knocking down the trees. and then causing the roofs to slam into the back of townhomes nearby. now after it did that damage, the actual roof itself continued up into the court and landed right up just south of northern parkway. now, there was a significant amount of debris here, lined up in front of these houses. you can see ripped shingles off, and ripped the siding off of many of these houses. it's just extremely fortunate that no one was killed as a result of this significant damage from this storm. and this appears to be the worst affected area, although not the only affected area. you can see three blocks south. high school here, along perring parkway. we see other roofs damaged and lots of other folks conducting cleanup also. but just the sheer power of this wind was very, very significant. in what it did here.
