park in the panhandle. that is a botanical, basically a botanical garden where mr. mclaren and mr. hall planted over 80 different species of trees to figure out what would grow, obviously, we've got our bison paddock. we have the gardens of golden gate park, the conservatory where the conservatory of flowers, was built in 1871, was originally a casino, there's all kinds of fun facts, in this park. it's really just extraordinary. >> yeah, it really is. and a lot of firsts here. i was reading that it was actually home to the very first public playground in the country are really important. >> one, you've you've read up. well, heather, yes. the children's playground was actually the first children's playground ever constructed in the united states, we also held the first world's fair west of the mississippi in 1894, and then we held the pan pacific international exposition a little bit later, it's a it's brilliant. and in a year or two, it will be the largest urban park ever constructed that will operate on reclaimed or recycled water. that is, we're also thinking we're also thinking a

resources for them, including some improvements, some pedestrian and trail improvements around mclaren park at the edge of visitacion valley . sorry. okay, in terms of our next steps, we do not anticipate programing, any funds for projects, for new projects? certainly in the in the next two years in, in very modest amount in the next five years. ipic had said that they really would like to focus on the projects that we had committed to through previously appropriation cycles. and so we're keeping a list of that projects, and we'll be funding them as the money comes in. and we have a process amongst agencies to see how to how to distribute that money. it's usually based on need or what project needs it strategically at a given time, as we've been doing this, i just should say the agencies have been very cooperative and working with each other so that each could get as much or as money that is absolutely key to their projects and move it to the next phase. i think it was what we'll be doing this year is we'll be taking this time, since we won't be doing a lot of new programing, is to look at

park properties that typically have roads or only three of them,b golden gate park, lincoln park and mclaren and i would like to encouraging to know that we are-you mentioned that to not be siloed and this is a great. i do want to follow up with you all in the future about harmonizeing the blue zones within rpd properties, and working out something to get everything in one place. thus, the comment. the question is, again, rec and park properties are a hybrid. we look at regulations, there is like a-there is facility, which is kind of like off-street parking within a facility, or you have on-street. on-street parking is generally not within a facility, but where we are going with this is thinking roads are in fact parking on roads are on street, so that said, i know you said there are notification requirements and my question is, are those through mta only, or are blue zones-do they need to be installed by ordinance or resolution? so, i guess my question is, do they need to be- is there a ordinance or resolution that needs to be passed in order to put in these blue zones, or is it more admini

mclaren. she is the only female commissioner to have a park or other recreational facility named for her in san francisco. in 1908 elected to board of directors of the california club and early san francisco athletic clubs where wives of the male members to further social causes. part of the forefront of elevating the status of women. she was part of the playground movement in the united states. hew maretens saw play grounds to social solution of urban environments where people lived in small places because they had poor air quality elsewhere. hayward was appointed by mayor taylor to newly created playground commission and served 10 years before her passing in 1918. i would like to share this is the first women history month as a commission where we have been majority women commissioners.
