maureen: a jury heard opening statements today in the trial of an attorney accused of assaulting a mclean couple at their home. police say andrew schmuhl and his wife forced their way in the home and assaulted leo fisher and sue duncan in november 2014. prosecutors say that the schmuhls wanted revenge against alecia schmuhl's former boss and his w the defense said andrew schmuhl actions were influencedded by prescription drugs. leon: a verdict is expected to come on monday in the trial of the baltimore police officer edward nero who is facing charges stemming from freddie gray's arrest and death. the lawyers made the closing argument today before judge williams. nero chose to have a bench trial rather than let a jury hear the case. nero is charged with assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment. gray as you may know died of injuries he suffered in police custody following the arrest in april 2015. maureen: up next, a family tries to tighten drunk drivg laws. >> it shouldn't take so many lost lives and it shouldn't take noah leotta for this to happen. maureen: what still bothe
