the medicaid expansion. he was a vociferous critic of obamacare, when faced with medicaid, the indiana association came to him and said you've got to do something. and he came up with an innovative plan, called hip 2.0 and it basically expanded the medicaid universe by 300,000 people in indiana. so he's shown some willingness to include. but including lgbt, he's been recalcitrant in going down that road. so he seems to be caught between keeping his base satisfied and maybe taking a little bit more progressive position. with conservative republicans, he gets high marks. we've had a lot of economic success in indiana. we've got a high tech sector developing here, and so he gets high marks, record employment there. but on some of the social policies, for instance he signed into law an abortion bill that i think is gonna get shot down, there's an injunction against it and there's problems there. so it depends on who you talk to. >> brian howey, thank you for being with us, shedding light on tonight's speaker, mik
