of course i'm taking more money from medicare. >> yes, but this is data that is all medicare patients. which means regardless of what else you do you outside of your medicare practice this is how you treat medicare patients compared to other doctors. that argument does not have a lot of force in thigh view. >> how do you use this data? >> well, i'm a clinician in massachusetts, so in my work it's going to be very useful. as a patient i think right now in the way that the doctor mentioned that often i as a physician have trouble figuring out which surgeons have the highest volume and therefore may have the most expertise. this kind of data is actually hopeful for that, but i think it's going to take a lot of ou a analysts. some of the concerns are valid, but the solution is a charge forward in addressing foes concerns, and i think hopefully that will happen. the value of the data really for me is that part of what we need to do is to take the financial incentive and the patient, clinicians, civic leaders, all need to stand up to do that. this is a first step. >> there has been some exp

in fact the actuaries of medicare, not republican or democrat, but the actuaries of the medicare system said that the system is going broke. within a 10-year period of time, it won't be able to provide services for seniors that have currently been promised. our budget positively addresses these issues. we save and we strengthen and we secure medicare. how? with positive reform. putting patients in charge, not government in charge. in fact the proposal we outlined a number of years ago and continue to include in our budget right now, premium support for seniors, making it so they have more choice the congressional budget office did a study on that exact program, published last september, and they say, oh, recognize that this program, proposed by the republicans, will not only save money for seniors, it will save money for taxpayers. real, positive solutions. again, put patients in charge and not government. another exciting difference between our proposal, our budget, real solutions, and the other side, we understand that a growing economy is essential to get us back on the right track.
