with more on that, we want to get to megan mcgrath, who's live along the chesapeake bay bridge. megan? >> reporter: well, you can see the bridge over my shoulder here. we're starting to see the volume pick up here, but things are moving very well. no traffic delays at all on the bridge, not at this point. it's still early. lots of folks, though, later on this afternoon will be heading to the beaches. unfortunately, hermine is going to have a serious impact on the weather at the beaches. we're expecting high winds, heavy rains, so not a lot of time maybe being spent on the beach. not this time around. we've been talking to folks all morning long and they say they'll just do the best they can. they'll make do. a beautiful morning at the bay bridge. clear blue skies and a gentle breeze. but things are going saturday night into sunday, raising the possibility of wind restrictions on the bridge. and at the beach -- >> what are you expecting in terms of the weather this weekend? >> well, big waves, high tides, and what i'm really hoping for is it will wash up some sea glass. >> reporte
