news 4's megan mcgrath has seen a lot of snow as she has been traveling around this morning in some slushy areas. megan, any progress right now? how is it looking? >> well, we are on west patrick street right now. downtown frederick, take a look for yourself. take a look at our live picture here. you can see we have some slush on the road in the middle of the lane as well as on the side. would he have seen a lot of people out and about getting the snow off their stoops, their stairs. so we are seeing the clean up begin, but we are seeing slippery conditions on those secondary neighborhood streets. so folks are going to want to take it easy. here is some video, some of the other roads, the secondary roads that we've encountered. slick spots, just a little bit treacherous. .not terrible. they had about an inch and a half to 2 inches of snow here in the frederick area. so not an enormous storm, but just enough to make things a little bit sloppy this morning. that's why the kids are on a two-hour delay here today for school. we've been talking to motorists and they say, really, when you get to

megan mcgrath has been showing us the conditions through throughout maryland today. megan, good mor we're here in frederick just off of market street. not a ton of snow, but you have, you can see, that it's coding the grass here. i'm mott seeing the snow spoking through like we did in gaithersburg. you can maybe get a better idea looking at the poll here. that would be about 2 inches or so. but not causing any major problems. everybody knew this light dusting of snow was coming. the road crews were out there in full force for the last 4 hours or so. they pretreated those roads and they're in pretty good shape there. we were driving on to 70 earlier. just west pavement. take a look at this. this is a side street off of market street here in frederick. some of these areas obviously were not treated. you can see some slick spots. encounter here today. just here and there, residential treats. those secondary roads that weren't treated with chemicals, they may be slick this morning. once you get out there to the wet roads, all we saw was smooth sailing. we are seeing some

megan mcgrath is live in alex andrea with more on how you can spre protect your property. >> well, guys, unfortunately, this is still an open case. alexandria police still looking for whoever is responsible. but talk about a mess here, take a look at the video. imagine waking up, you head down to the parking garage of your condo complex. you're ready to go to work. and this is what you find. your car with smashed in windows and it's not just your car, but the cars of your neighbors, as well. it happened at a condo complex between king street and braddock road in alexandria. 21 cars had their window broken in. an expensive fix, as you would imagine. we spoke to people there at that complex. they say it's a real hassle. one woman says she was with her young child when she discovered a car. >> we have little baby, like he is going to a school and he was really scared, what's happened, mommy. >> now, this isn't the only incident. there was something similar that happened in the west end section of alexandria. a dozen cars had their windows smashed in there. there was an incident green belt
