megan mcgrath live at the franconia springfield station. >> reporter: with the coming of the silver line, there will be more options for riders and some will see a decrease in their wait times for trains. so good news there. however, if you ride along the blue line, you may actually see a negative impact. you might have to wait longer for a train. only so many trains can pass through the roslyn tunnel, that's a choke point in the system. so to make way for the silver line trains, they're reducing the number of blue line trains. so what does that mean for folks who ride the blue line? take a look. blue line trains are going to come every 12 minutes during rush hour. that's up from 8 1/2 minutes which is what was seen previous to the silver line. metro says wait times will go from an average of 4 minutes to 6 minutes, that's an increase of about 2 minutes during rush hour. we've been talking to folks here. some say they believe they wait too long for a train as it is. others say an extra two minutes is not a big deal. >> for an extra two minutes, i think it would hurt my time being at the
