thanks for joining us i am megan pringle.ng on in our newsroom and out in the field because severe weather has hit our area. let's get to meteorologist justin berk. what's going on? >> we expected the storm to produce strong winds and expected heavy rain during the evening and overnight. the thunderstorms that was the adjustment that wyatt gave you yesterday evening but it was add midnight storm damage dropped the trees, power lines and building damage in and around the baltimore area. now there is that big question in parkville of a possible tornado. any tornado needs to be confirmed by a national weather service investigation which occurs during the daylight and they need to see what damage, was it twisting or blown down in a straight line. we will find out today in the 2200 block we have some problems with roofs torn off buildings and some building collapses. check this out. we have a 57-mile-per-hour wind gusts at the johns hop kens university of applied physics lab. 54. but we are watching that line of storms. it's gone,

i am megan pringle. it's been a wild morning after a nasty storm ripped through the area. we are going to have fun as we normally do on this show, but first things first. weather. the big story this morning, live team coverage from the city to the county. we will start in the county where we meet with up charlie crowson out in parkville and things have been really messy out there. >> reporter: uds. it's been messy throughout morning and will continue throughout the day. we have been in contact with tree service crews as they are firing up chain sauce and getting the cleanup started in parkville. throughout the morning, in the darkness, we told you about a house that had been crushed by a tree that fell over. this morning we can show outhouse in broad daylight. this tree the tree you see here an older tree appearing to have been rotting from the inside due to the straight line and hard wind from last night possibly a tornado. possibly a microhe burst. it has blown the tree over on top of this house. as you look through and paul pushes through you will see an orange sign tap
