thanks for joining us i am megan pringle. >> i am charley crowson. we begin with a check of your traffic. an didn't we need to talk about. here's lauren cook. >> yes. there is a very serious crash this morning in carroll county. we have learned two people have been flown to shock trauma with life-threatening injuries and route 97 is closed between old liberty road and bars lo road closed throughout the morning road. so stick with route 32 or route 27 as your alternate routes. we have trouble on 95 downtown. there's a crash right northboun dundalk avenue. it's not causing any significant delays as of yet and if you are heading out on 83, or tallly -- actually 695, as we look in parkville, everything is up to speed. no problems on the inner loop to 95 and the outer loop you are looking at a normal 11 minute ride from 95 up to 83. all is clear in pikesville. no problems from green spring avenue down to route 40. and as we look at the drive times on the west side, 8 minutes to travel from 795 down to 70. using the jfx to get into the city nice and clear.

. >> and i'm megan pringle, thanks so much for joining us this morning. first the weather because it is chilly out there. >> lynette is starting by with what's going on out there. the cold air has settled in. >> it has. good job charlie. it is invading us right now. we are feeling it. 26 degrees in elkton. bundle up as you head out the door. layers i suggest and very dry air for today as well. look at the dew point 14. that's some dry air. that's some wood splitting air. clarksville's temperature coming in at 27 degrees right now with that dew point after 17. -- of 17. and we have temperatures elsewhere like manchester coming in at 20 degrees right now and annapolis 28. huntingtown more of the same. so this is a picture on maryland's most powerful radar. we are nice and dry and we will stay that way as we head throughout the day. we do have those clouds out there this morning but with all the dry air they will begin to erode as we head through time. when you wake up around 7:00, 10:00, temperatures will be right around 30 degrees. by lunchtime 35 degrees.
