that was melanie wingo reporting.also like to note the firefighters from san rafael, oakland, south, san francisco, san ramon valley and richmond were among those honored at the ceremony today. well in weather, we have been tracking a weak system over the past day or so, producing some cloud cover, even a little bit of some shower activity. we were not expecting much in that that low expectation kind of verified nicely here. you can see bodega bay 106, sebastopol one point and three, mount tam in marin county, .02 in healdsburg 0.01. so a lot of areas not picking up much in the way of anything in terms of rainfall. highs from today, though, actually fairly mild, 70 in the warmest locations in the lower 80s this afternoon. temperatures will be the big story into next week. so temperatures actually cool off a little bit near monday. and then rebounding quite a bit by wednesday. and thursday. and by thursday, the hottest locations will be back up into the 90s. the heat wants to pay us a visit once again, just a few days
