hernandez spoke with some of those survivors bracing for the worse. >> reporter: it was november 8th all over again for all of us. melissa said she woke morning f going into the town of paradise all over again. >> brought back a lot of angst. to the campfire in november of 2018. in fact she and her husband just submitted their rebuilding plans on tuesday. >> i was ecstaticed that we submitted our plans and the bear fire broke out. >> i walked outside and started crying because it was so similar. not just the skies but the feel. it feels a lot of fear in the community. >> reporter: instead of panicking yesterday, she sprung into action. she has been delivering water and other needed supplies to evacuees. many in paradise left town to be safe. >> right now i think we are all apart of it. a lot are choosing to leave because the sky or the smell. >> reporter: the bay area skipped over paradise, it left a path of destruction in other parts of the county. cal fire say they'll help in any way they can. >> we got you. we'll get through it. >> reporter: jodi hernandez, nbc bay area news. >> here is where we stand on the wildfires
