melissa colorado spoke to a witness who caught the aftermath of the attack. >> reporter: with mother's day around the corner, patricia lee is focussed squarely on selling her bouquets of flowers. but yesterday right before 5:00 p.m., it was what a pan was holding in his right hand that caught her eye. >> it looked like an army knife. i called my nephew. >> reporter: a man walked up and repeatedly stabbed two asian women, one in her 80s and another in her 60s. >> she screamed. >> reporter: lee does not think the attacks were provoked. one victim was so stunned it took her some time to realize she was stabbed. >> and, while she was calling somebody she started to feel the pain. she was bleeding from the back. >> reporter: the family of the 85-year-old victim created this gofundme page. the family says the knife went through her right arm and into her chest. their grandmother is recovering after emergency surgery at sf general. the other victim also remains hospitalized. lee says she was struck by how casually the attacker walked away. >> he didn't run, he walked away. >> reporter: two hours after the double stabbing, polic
