. >> fox 25's christine mccarthy is in melrose with the breaking details. >> reporter: we spoke with a neighbor who witnessed the aftermath of this crash who lives just a couple doors down here on howard street. he tells us he's very shaken up and just emotional about what he saw. that we shot earlier right after the accident which occurred around 5:30 this evening. you can see a sedan flipped over a mother and two very young kids were inside that neighbor tells us police say the car was travelling west on howard street when it struck the landscaping truck and trailer hitting the workers and standing outside and killing him almost immediately. that car also struck an s.u.v. before flipping over. the neighbor ran to help pulled children out of the car. he tells me he had just been finish up their work and load up for the night. >> he has three young kids and to see that having to pull them out hits a little close to home. then finding out, of course, that somebody was killed is pretty shocking. >> reporter: the mother and two children were taken to the hospital by ambulance. their inj
