good morning. >> we talk about memphis. it is typically 3 inches of rain for the month of september. yesterday, 4.45 inches of rain. the concern again is where will this heavy rain be. we are looking at the system pushing through and a second system behind it. that is the story we will talk about each day separately so you know where the heavy rain will be. in the carolinas, same frontal system. you could see heavy flooding. northeast is looking good. midwest will see showers picking up. here is the saturday look. the northeast to the southeast, the systems are close to each other. looking more more showers. by sunday, nice in the northeast, but sunday, still holding on into the southeast with more of those showers. never what you want to see on that actual weekend. not to mention, look at the temperature threat. cool air filling in the east. yes, huge temperature drop. d.c. dropping from 91 to 79 today. keep in mind, this will continue that cooling trend as we head in through saturday. a lot of changes. rain is a concern.
