these families lost everything in the redwood valley fire in mendocino county last month. they say pg&e is to blame. pg&e of gross negligence for not properly cutting back vegetation and maintaining power lines. to we are certain this is the cause. that will eventually be the official cause. we can do discovery. >> reporter: they say pg&e should have seen the dangerous situations coming and should've cut the power to certain homes to cut the fire. >> we don't want to have people without power but this was far worse. you should cut it off so that if lines fall, they don't start these ignitions fire victims and sonoma county also blaming pg&e for negligence for the destruction that happened with these wildfires. the representative for those clients says this is likely to be consolidated as one large lawsuit going forward. >> thank you. >>> the tubbs fire was started near calistoga and it's the most destructive wildfire in state history. now a preliminary report from cal fire shows how bad it actually was. it says the fire destroyed 4568 homes, 94 commercial buildings and 23
