democratic senator bob menendez was indicted on a dozen charges, accused of using his office for helpinglthy friend. his trial last year ended in a led locked jury and prosecutors drop the the case in january. then we have the congresswoman from florida sentenced to five years in prison. prosecutors said she turned a charity for poor students into a personal slush fund. she had served almost 25 years in congress. then we go to last year, may, montana republican congressman forte one his house seat in a especially election just one day after his arrest for assaulting a reporter. he pled guilty was smaens sentenced to anger management and community service. another congress man convicted two years ago 30 counts of rack tierrying. he was accused of misusing funds. now serving a 10 year prison sentence. republican congressman michael grim of new york faced a 20-count indictment in 2014 on felony tax evasion, perjury, other charges, in connection with a restaurant he ran. he pled guilty later that year to a single count of tax fraud and ended up serving seven months in prison. his effort at a
