san francisco-based artist john meredith equated her likeness on hand drawing some of the words she spokee hearing a week ago. >>> today's avid cisco mayor linda breen is expected to expand on her goals for helping homeless people in the city. the san francisco chronicle is reporting that she announced plans to open three new shelters as part of a project to provide 1000 more beds for people with nowhere to go. they want 500 of the best to be available by next summer. the mayor says adding shelter beds is among her highs priorities in helping homeless get off the street. she says money could come from cutting programs that are not currently working well. the city currently has 2500 beds of salters in transitional housing that navigation centers across the city. hundreds of homeless military vets from the bay area and the central valley will get permanent housing takes to more than $5 million in federal grants. most of the grant money will go to the santa clara housing authority expected to cover housing for 140 homeless vets. a total of two 343 veterans will be held -- helped by the progr
