joining us now, white house reporter at "politico," meredith mcgraw. dith, thank you so much for getting up this early with us today. talk a little bit about that trip, if you could. obviously, the nation is still grappling with a national moment of reckoning on race. the president will be there, in tulsa, waiting into what certainly will be a highly charged emotional moment. what do you think of the significance? and what will his message be today? >> well, president biden is going to be going to tulsa, today. he is the first president to do so, to commemorate the riots that, of course, ravaged the city and killed hundreds of african-americans in an area that's known as black wall street. and it really was one of the darkest days in -- in american history. and as, you know, it was noted in that piece. you know, a lot of people are hoping that some sunlight is put on this event. and that there is some talk of how to move forward. of course, talking about racial injust -- or racial injustice has been an important theme of biden's presidency. i keep think
