and you have a new reporting on attorney general merrick garland who'll be testifying before the senate judiciary committee tomorrow. what topics do we expect for him to be pressed on? >> he's the witness for tomorrow's hearing before the senate judiciary committee, which is being dubbed as a hearing to conduct oversight over the department of justice. the senate judiciary committee has put out few details about what will actually be seen in this hearing other than the title of it -- oversight and star witness garland. but there are two reasons why this is really significant right now. "a," this is going to be merrick garland's first time testifying before the 118th congress, and of course the senate is still in democrats hands, though he will be facing questions from some republicans because republicans of course sit on the judiciary committee. the other reason why this is really significant is because the doj is currently overseeing a number of investigations into very high profile political figures that are of immense focus to the american public, namely that issue pertaining to the
