( marty @ landing ) a 13-year-old boy is recovering this morning after he's rescued by his 18-year-old brother in a hayward house fire. and last night's rescue wasn't simple. the 18-year-old had to jump from a second story window of his home. he grabbed a ladder and used it to save his younger brother. the fire started in the living room on the first floor of the home on cherry way near western boulevard in hayward. no word on the cause of the fire. the 13-year-old is at the children's hospital in oakland this morning.
