we look to the atlantic for this next system, named by the met office as a storm lily and, likely to winds pick up around this developing storm for wales —— large parts of england and wales. gusts and excess of 60 mph near the coast. those damaging winds continue across parts of the midlands, wales, northern england through friday morning just in time for the rush. as the wind and rain clears away, it will brighten up into the afternoon with plenty of sunshine and blustery showers in the north and west. the winds are a feature. temperatures into the high teens in the north, 22 or 23 in the south. we could see some disruption from that storm into friday morning, trees in full leaf, so we could see some trees and branches being brought down. conditions improve a bit through friday night, lots of showers across the north west. we could see this weather front bringing heavy and persistent rain across southern and south—eastern areas in the early part of saturday. a? on this front, it could be further north or south, but it could bring some substantial rainfall to start a saturday morning
