this is in the metro west area. angie has seen this happen, she has many videos of the car speeding past buses. she said she tried to get help but nothing has happened. we reached out to police and orange county public schools to see if they are aware of this problem. both tell us they are looking into it. the school district adds it will work with law enforcement on keeping students safe. >> a crime tracker for a thief that police say stole from a woman while she was shopping. detectives are searching for this woman on east broadway in oviedo. she swapped cards with another customer and stole her money. when the victim confronted the suspect she apologized and said it was a big mistake. loaded groceries into her car that she realized cash was miss ing fromher purse. >> that is called hiding in plain sight. you walk away and you have done something wrong. >> here is one more look at suspect. if you recognize her, please call police. >> friends and family of a deputy will gather to remember his memories. scott pine w

. >> tonight we're trying to get shooting that happened in the metro west area last night. today, orlando police told us one of the victims is 34-year-old antonio jones who is one of the men found dead at the stonebridge reserve condos, located on robert trent jones drive. we're working on find out more info about the second man. police have not released any details about a suspect. >> he stopped to get some groceries and ended up getting a gun pointed to his chest. tonight two men are locked up, accused of robbing a semi truck driver. orange county deputies arrested nathaniel woods and john powell overnight. the men walked up to the driver and allegedly pointed a gun to wallet and went through his semi truck cab. the victim called 911 after the men left and police spotted them later and arrested them following a short chase. both are now facing felony charges. >> well, news 6 is keeping a close watch on the zika virus and the fears surrounding it. >> tonight we've learned there are new cases in florida. news 6 anchor ginger gadsden joins us now with the zika virus update.

pretty much the entire metro area, especially the southeast, and it extends a little bit into pennsylvania. the 30's north and west of the metro area. 56 at and rose. warmer air is working in. tovice temperatures are key how strong these storms will get and how high the winds will be. we expect over the next few hours we will see the temperatures slowly rise. look to the south. 67 in raleigh. 65 in richmond. as this moves northward it will get rid of the cloudiness as well. these are scattered showers and storms. nothing severe here. as we expand our view through warrenton and other regions, brief little downpours. this is not the main event. neither is this. this is the area under tornado watch. however, these storms have not blossomed too much. this little segment will miss us. it is this second area from just to the west of charlotte, that will move to the east in the afternoon and evening and this is the area that will expand and intensify, especially if we get warmer air and a little bit of sunshine. that will be our source of possible severe weather later today. i will have a complete update coming up in jus

metro area will be hit. the greatest threat for severe weather with a tornado watch is to the south and west of the louisville metro area. there are tornado warnings. we have been saying for the past couple days that the best threat for severe weather will generally a well to her south and west. that has not changed. we will be on the northern fringe of any thunderstorm activity tonight. we have a head much farther south and west to get some really nasty stuff. thunderstorm that could produce a strong wind here or there. after 10:00 tonight, maybe something will try to spin off the line. i do also think there could be some localized area of heavy rainfall. with or without any storms, the winds are going to kick up this evening. the greatest risk for severe weather will be after 10:00 through 3 a.m.. we' ll be keeping a close eye on it as you go through the latter part of the evening hours. right now at the airport is 57 degrees. with a southeasterly wind at 12 balls per hour. -- miles per hour. the rains will come and go. temperatures will remain mild. we are in the upper 50' s and 60' s. with the breezy sout
