all right metrologist adam joseph is back now with a closer look at that very changing forecast. >> yeah it's going to continue to change with every different model run we get in so this is something not etched in stone at this point but give you what we think at this very moment as we look at storm tracker six live double scan the eye of hurricane hermine is now starting to scrape the coastline of florida near what they call the big bend there. winds sustained at 80 miles per hour and you can see the bands of rain wrapping around the center there. you have these feeder bands one after another pulling into the coast of florida with very intense wind as well as very heavy rainfall, as we close in there is that classic eye of the hurricane again as it's now just starting to hit land winds near the eye off shore showing north 55 miles per hour gusting to 61 miles per hour, it's just a powerful storm as it is now making landfall in florida and the first hurricane to make landfall in florida in 11 years. tropical storm watches are up for our coastline, we have not had a tropical storm watch s

and tropical conditions and at the coast we will see the worst of the storm and bring in metrologist adam josephe latest on that. not flooding because of a driving rain which you typically get with tropical-type features it's the storm surge and the rounds of high tide with this. dangerous flooding due to waves near 15 feet that will really start to swell up as we get into sunday and monday and a storm surge now expected 3-5 feet above the ground meaning standing at the water's end expect a rise in that water by 3-5 feet during the times of high tide. right now this is showing the circulation with the wave heights, again didn't look bad today and chop but not terrific and that is 30 foot swells starting to develop and pivots to the west and the wall of water as the storm moves to the north and west will move with it and what is when the worst of the flooding is expected. so minor flooding with the present high tide right now. sunday morning it goes to moderate, 10-11 but the two high tides of major concern with major flooding will be on sunday night 10-11 p.m. monday morning 10:30 to 11:30 and b
