he met his partner when they were both volunteers. randy became very much involved with the legislative efforts for civil-rights as well as someone who is on the founding organization and also having served on the human rights campaign board of governors. he distinguished himself with his involvement in the care council overseeing federal funding for hiv and aids services. he had just recently rejoined the council. he was also co-chair of the hepatitis c task force. he was immortalized on december 1 when laura thomas and others spoke about his recent passing and how much he contributed to san francisco. he was well known to have a much loved partner, and they were wedded at city hall by the assemblymen. also in 1998, they adopted their beagle darwin. he became involved in legal rescue. his father richard and his sister linda survive him. he will be greatly missed by all in san francisco that worked so hard and fight so hard on behalf of individuals affected by hiv and aids. i have also submitted two in memoriams. one by the late polic
