i will talk to the snend who said tucson's mexican american studies program is against the law.d to skrab. congress approved the sale and the obama administration confirmed that governments have signed off on the deal. white house correspondent kristen welker is traveling with the the president in hawaii. why is this sale so important? >> first of all, a couple of points about the sale include 84 new f 15 boeing-made fighter jets as well as up greats to 70 existing jets. the united states estimates this sale will add about 50,000 new jobs and could boost the u.s. economy by about $3.5 billion annually. it's a big deal for that reason. we expect the first fighter jets to arrive in about 2014. it's also a big deal because it's reinforcing the united states strong alliance with saudi arabia and also sending a message and the united states has a vested interest in the stability of the country. now the white house put out the statement and i believe we have a graphic of it. the white house saying this agreement reinforces the strong and enduring relationship between the united states
