shares of mgm way down since the tragedy.y, do hotels need to be beefing up security and could mgm have done more to protect those people staying in that hotel and surrounding that hotel and their shareholders as well? >> look, every head honcho, top dog, big cheese in the travel industry are looking this over and unfortunately, it takes a tragedy to learn more about what you need to do to protect. and i will tell you everybody in the travel industry knows the number one job is safety of your consumer. so, yeah, they're going to be changes. what i can tell you here in central florida since 2015, disney and universal put in metal detectors last thing they want out front and center, bad optics, but they need safety for the people visiting their place and changes going forward. i heard about steve wynn doing things and everybody around the globe. trish: maybe that could have cameras in a lot of places, the casinos. they've got cameras focused on the blackjack and poker tables. why isn't there security throughout the rest of the

should mgm have done more to protect them? >> this timing question is critical when it comes to that analysis what they should have done, whether or not they were neglectful protect the public. there is a huge difference between 40 second delay, that is what mgm is saying, they came out yesterday, saying no, the police timeline is wrong. it is not six minutes, at very most 40 seconds from the shooting of the security officer to the scooting out into the public. so when you're analyzing the delay, mgm, mandalay bay did, that is going to be critical. there are other questions what they knew, what they should have known. you have an individual bringing in large amounts of ammunition and firearms into that hotel. he had a do not disturb sign on the door for a significant period of time. and we know from hearing from other hotel owners, that is a red flag and potentially something that a hotel should look at. trish: all right. so from legal liability standpoint, by the way, i do want to point out, shares of mgm since this happened,

new york-new york and mgm are linked via a bridge. and, you know, musicians hang out on that bridge, people hang out on that bridge and if you're looking down the street, you'll see mandalay bay, it's about three-quarters of a mile up the street and the venue not far from there. so, i came up there, new york-new york came up on the bridge. as soon as i walked out there was a large police presence, ambulance were coming down the street. i said, hey, what's going on? there's been a shooting. they think it's a sniper. so, you know, i went down, i got a little closer to the scene and when i got down there i took some video and tweeted out that this was a staging area for -- for victims and the ambulance were coming in by six a time as they were triaging people in front of the mgm and getting them in the ambulance and shipping them out. so, you know, at that point i was a little bit more with the journalist hat and tried to get some facts and see what was going on. as i went back up to the escalator to get back up to the bridge, all of a s

team and paramedics came rushing through the mgm.o, i waited of course to see what was going on and they brought down a man on a stretcher who left arm bandaged up and i've got some video of -- of the ambulance outside taking the guy away. not sure what that was all about but after that, the s.w.a.t. team hung around. they all had automatic weapons in their hands. >> hm. >> i can't even imagine what that scene must be like. bill, but again, you are okay. you didn't see any of the -- aside from the man you just described you didn't see any of the other injured? we're hearing a hundred plus injured, 20 plus dead.0 plus de. victims, did you. >> i did because of where the staging area is is right in front of the mgm so i was down on the street and i could see them triaging people putting them in ambulances and the video that i think i put out on twitter shows, you know, six or seven ambulances just coming all in at one time into that area. so, that's where they were staging and taking them out and then, you know, going back to the gunsho
