it is raining here in northwest miami-dade. about five, ten minutes ago you can see behind me florida power and light pulled up two trucks here. it looks like they are trying to turn off the power to this neighborhood to keep things safe as crews continue to put out hot spots. witnesses say flames shot 20 feet in the air. the guy that shot this video saw the smoke from a couple mes away and pulled over to help. it's there that around 25 firefighters were called out to put this one out. they first tackled it from the front door and t a challenge when the roof collapsed so they went and the back. it looks like the home may have been abandoned. firefighters are talking with witness to see what they saw. >> the roof collapsed. we want to get inside and do and aggressive attack on the fire, but with the roof collapse we had to fight the fire from the outside. see miami-dade police are here. the battalion chief did tell me this fire is suspicious. we did talk to a witness. he pulled up, tried to put out this fire. we'll hear from him

both the driver of this car and miami-dade police that the car that you are looking at the under side of is the car that was the one that caused this accident. what we understand from both police and that driver is that this car was one person insidejust the driver was heading eastbound on south west eighth street and he said south west 37th avenunuthe driver tried to press the brake. he said when he tried to press the brake nothing happened. he said he repeatedly tried to do that for several blocks. coasted through a few traffic let's and as he got to this intersection ass at south west 32 avenue drifted into oncoming traffic where police say he hit that small suv that then bumped into the miami-dade police car. we were actually able to speak to the driver of that car about what led up to this accident and miami-dade police about what they are doing in this investigation. >> like i couldn't stop. the brake wouldn't stop. and the car hit me. i was really y ared really scared and nervous.

miami-dade is mostly quiet. here's the picture, you can see a lot of thunderstorms, they're draped across florida and the whole line is working its way south and the storms will be on the increase throughout the evening. with the storms being persistent throughout the day in broward, a flood advisory will be extended throughout the night and may see some flood warnings going up because the rain has been heavy. in north broward, it's heavy. south broward, we have had heavy thunderstorms, more activity and big thunderstorms coming out of the everglades across alligator training, repeated thunderstorms. flooding, an increase in possibility there. storms are working ware day down out of broward and in the keys, we have had some heavy storms. the reason for the storminess, talked about it for days, we have to wait until this low pressure of the gulf pulls through and that's not going to happen until tomorrow. models showing thunderstorms around. then the overnight hours, storms around, even the commute tomorrow morni
