michael? >> michael: good morning. state troopers outside the statehouse gathering talking about security of this key location here in boston and as far as safety overall that's the concern of governor baker and roughly half the governors potentially submarining this plan of president obama to bring 10,000 syrian refugees into the united states. one big reason, of course, is that french authorities say one of the attackers in paris initially posed as a refugee from syria to gain entry. now about half saying no governor baker saying no for now to welcoming these refugees. the thing is legal experts say it is not really up to the governors. they say congress holds the power to whether approve or deny the federal government's plan here. fox25 caught up with congressman bill keating and homeland security committee and he had like to see air travel security improvements overseas before the u.s. accepts more refugees. >> come to the united states to present a threat and we do it routinely here and someone has a reservation,

"we've thought, for this year since the 1700 was no sweat at all for the kids to accomplish, we would do the sweatpants. for them to have an out of uniform day is kind of nice. it's nice for the teachers too. we all feel just a little more relaxed." holy cross sixth grade teacher kim sealey was one of the staff members that started the reading challenge two years ago. she says they have reached the goal each and every year. students say it's important to take up reading at a young age. "it can take you to different places," said alainna joly, a sixth-grader at holy cross- blessed sacrament center. "when you're in a book, and you just focus on the book, it'll take you to a different universe. and you'll get all the ideas when you read." sealey says the school will raise the reading goal by 100 books every quarter. that would bring the total to 2,000 by the end of the school year. there's a new program that is helping people with high blood pressure. but not everyone is on board with th
