brown. a book that i'm reading right now is michael conley's the 5th witness. this is a series of books that involve a lawyer who largely practices law at the back of his car, his lincoln. they are often known as the lincoln lawyer series. it's great fun and moves right along, and it's a nice break from all my briefing books to read this right before i go to bed. this summer, i'm going to read my first e-book. now, i realize probably everybody else has been reading e-books for years, but this is my first one, and the run that i purchased is cutting for stone. it's supposed to be a tear risk book, and i'm looking forwards to reading it. it also has the advantage that it can travel with me very easily, and timely, i'm looking forward this summer to reading david brookes new book called "the social animal". i think david brooks is absolutely brilliant, and i'm looking forward to learning more about his insights. i understand from talking to him that he did a great deal of research on the brain, gathering together many, many studies, and i think it's going to be a
