[applause] >> thank you, madam secretary for that generous introduction. we will see if my kids continue to sink if i am one of the leading minds in that area. thank you for hosting the event today. it is great to see this many people here from trade associations, and history, think tanks and other groups. we have a wide range of people. i think the wide range of the audience and the size of the crowd shows up critical cyber security has become. i think all of you for your support. yesterday the administration took a big step forward and cyber security. as the president announced, he signed an executive order. at the same time, he approved a presidential causally -- policy directive to improve the infrastructure in cyberspace and in the physical trauma. these documents will provide a push to cyber security efforts. the president has taken this action because the threat guillemin's it. the consequences of inaction are two significant. as a results, the united states will be a leader i
